The U.S. Department of State Student Internship Program is taking applications until June 30 for the spring 2018 term. The unpaid, 10-week internship provides students the opportunity to work in embassies, consulates, bureaus and department offices located across the United States or overseas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the program, students are given the opportunity to garner college credits and gain work experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students are eligible if they have 60 credit hours or a minimum 3.0 grade point average, are U.S. citizens, can pass randomized drug tests and a background check. Applicants must subscribe to email updates to be notified of new vacancies within the internship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Applications must be sent through USAJOBS, the federal government official employment site. The selected applicants will be interviewed by a hiring manager and then notified if they are chosen. <\/span><\/p>\n
