\"MAGICOn June 22, Discovery Networks Latin America\/U.S. Hispanic presented Miami Dade College with a $40,000 check that will provide scholarships for students at the Miami Animation & Gaming International Complex. <\/span><\/p>\n

Students enrolled in MDC\u2019s MAGIC program with at least 3.0 GPA \u00a0are encouraged to apply. Financial need and academic performance are taken into consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants are required to submit a letter of recommendation as well as a 500-word essay describing a game concept that he\/she would develop if they were to receive the scholarship. The scholarship application can be found at magic.mdc.edu\/scholarships-and-internships\/<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. Deadline to apply is May 31, 2018. Each student selected will receive $7,600 to cover MAGIC tuition.<\/span><\/p>\n
