Lorraine Wright has been selected as the new Student Life<\/span><\/strong><\/a> Director at North Campus. She started on July 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am excited and honored to serve in a role where I work directly with students,\u201d Wright said. \u201cAs an alumni of MDC, I understand the needs of the students from [the position] of a student leader as well as a professional.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She has served in many positions at the College. Her previous post were clerk, student programming board member, S.A.V.E textbook rental program coordinator, student life specialist and program coordinator for Educate Tomorrow at Single Stop. <\/span><\/p>\n

Wright got an associate in arts degree in criminal justice and a bachelor\u2019s degree in supervision and management from Miami Dade College. She later earned a master\u2019s degree in criminal justice administration from Florida International University. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am truly blessed to have this opportunity to serve the student body in such a rewarding capacity,\u201d Wright said. \u201cI believe through Student Life, opportunities are given to students that aims [sic] to truly change their lives.
