Omar Negrin, who serves as the photo editor for <\/span>The Reporter, <\/span><\/i>has landed a ten-week internship at the <\/span>Miami Herald<\/span><\/i>. He started in August. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Negrin, 21, has taken photos for the <\/span>Reporter <\/span><\/i>for the past year. His work has appeared in the news, sports, A\\E, briefing and photo briefing sections. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA dream come true,\u201d Negrin said about his internship at the <\/span>Herald<\/span><\/i>. <\/span><\/p>\n

He was the president of the photo club at Kendall Campus. Negrin is the current owner of OAN Photography Corporation where he shoots weddings, conceptual art, birthday parties and art exhibits. <\/span><\/p>\n

His interest in photography started during his senior year at <\/span>G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOne day I picked up my dad\u2019s camera and started taking pictures,\u201d Negrin said. \u201cPeople told me that I was really good and had an eye for it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
