Marlen Gonzalez has been selected as \u00a0the new director of Testing and Assessment at Wolfson Campus. She began her position in August. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m here to serve the students,\u201d Gonzalez said. \u201cNothing is more rewarding to me than seeing students succeed.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As director, Gonzalez is responsible for the maintenance of testing materials, managing the department\u2019s budget and evaluating personnel through training.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Testing and Assessment department provides assessment, proctoring and student feedback services, including to those with special needs. <\/span><\/p>\n

She is a graduate of the <\/span>Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas in Santa Clara, <\/span>Cuba and a former student of Miami Dade College\u2019s Refugee\/Entrant Vocational Education Services and Training (REVEST<\/span><\/strong><\/a>) Program. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gonzalez plans to develop a marketing strategy to promote industry certification exams offered by the department.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
