Elizabeth Potenza has been selected as the new ACCESS<\/span><\/a> director at North Campus. She started her position on Jan. 29.<\/span><\/p>\n

She will manage North Campus\u2019 Americans With Disabilities Act, bring new educational programs, oversee the department budget and payroll and prepare accommodations for ACCESS students.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe population of ACCESS is a population that needs to be represented,\u201d Potenza said. \u201cSo ethically and morally, it\u2019s the best position for me.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

She previously served as the former interim dean of students for North Campus<\/span><\/a>, an advisor for ACCESS and as an adjunct history professor at Miami Dade College. Potenza received a masters in history from the American Military College under the American Public University.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
