The Miami Dade College Museum of Art and Design will host Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Arjona. She will perform <\/span>All the Others in Me<\/span><\/i> at the Miami Light Project<\/span><\/a> at the Light Box at Goldman Warehouse, 404 N.W. 26th St., on April 14 from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. <\/span><\/p>\n

The performance will focus on the female body from the viewpoint of Western civilization and Islam, and is under the Living Together Series, which focuses on art installations and performance art. <\/span><\/p>\n

Arjona is a performance artist who mainly uses her body in her performances. She is from Bogot<\/span>\u00e1<\/span> and her work has been showcased across Latin America, Europe and North America. <\/span><\/p>\n

General admission is $15. Admission is $10 for MDC employees and is $5 for students with a school ID. Miami Dade College students can get free tickets but they must RSVP using their ID.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
