The Mathematics Club at Wolfson Campus<\/span><\/a> placed fourth in the team category at the Florida State Math Olympics on April 14 at the University of North Florida<\/span><\/a> in Jacksonville.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is indeed one of the most rewarding memories I will carry with me from this academic year,\u201d said Alvio Dominguez, the club\u2019s advisor. \u201cBeing among the winners in such prestigious and challenging event is something that those students will remember for the rest of their lives.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The team consists of Cesar Cardoso, Camila Dominguez, Alexander Loureiro and Christian Yaques.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Florida State Math Olympics is divided into two individual categories and a team category. Questions varied from basic math up to calculus II.<\/span><\/p>\n
