Kendall Campus\u2019 ACCESS<\/span><\/a> Disability Services will host an American Sign Language Poetry Slam on Oct. 17 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. located at 11011 S.W. 104th St. in the building 2 breezeway.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ASL Poetry Slam will feature poems and signed word pieces performed by students. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span>

\n<\/span>\u201cThe American Sign Language Poetry Slam is an event that provides a platform for students who are deaf, along with those learning the language, to perform a variety of pieces in ASL,\u201d said Mercy Macrina, director of ACCESS. <\/span><\/p>\n

The event is free and open to the public. <\/span>
