Miami Dade College\u2019s Freedom Tower has been selected to compete in the 2018 Partners in Preservation: Celebrating Diversity on Main Street, a voting-based competition for the chance to win up to $150,000 in preservation funds. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The funds will be put toward the continued renovations of the MDC Museum of Art and Design<\/span><\/a>, specifically in the upkeep of the Cuban Exile Experience Exhibit and the education room. <\/span><\/p>\n

Voting for the Freedom Tower can be done five times a day until Oct. 26. Winners will be announced on Oct. 29.<\/span><\/p>\n

Registering to vote for the Freedom Tower can be done through www.voteyourmainstreet.org\/miami<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Partners in Preservation is a program fostered by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express.<\/span><\/p>\n
