Cuban writer and poet Carlos Pintado will host an eight-week creative writing Spanish workshop from March 16 through May 4 at the Koubek Center<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>2705 S.W. Third St.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants will be guided by Pintado to learn and practice different narrative techniques, address the importance of conflict, plot and more. <\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop is sponsored by Miami Book Fair, which hosts year-round events to encourage students to take interactive creative writing classes to learn essential writing skills. <\/span><\/p>\n

The event is available to the public for $80 at <\/span>www.miamibookfair.com\/event\/taller-el-cuento-el-frankenstein-despierto-con-carlos-pintado\/<\/span><\/a><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n
