\"LogoThe Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund is providing financial assistance to children and dependents of those killed or permanently injured as a result of the 9\/11<\/span><\/a> attacks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligible applicants include dependent children, spouses or domestic partners of victims, such as airplane passengers, World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors, emergency medical and law enforcement personnel.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The need-based scholarship is available to students born prior to Sept. 30, 2008, and must be enrolled in a post-secondary program prior or upon turning 24.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Recipients may receive funds for up to four consecutive years, varying on total funding available.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
