Cynthia Okoe is the new director of\u00a0The Honors College at Kendall Campus<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Okoe, who began in early August, is responsible for guiding Honors College students through academic advisement and mentorship<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI feel great about being able to leverage my talents to support The Honors College,\u201d Okoe said. \u201cI\u2019m passionate about student development and having the opportunity to guide students.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Okoe began working at Miami Dade College in 2008 as a National Science Foundation Project Director. Two years later, she taught business as an adjunct professor at Kendall Campus. She was promoted to chairperson of Kendall Campus\u2019 School of Global Business as well as the School of Engineering, Technology and Design in 2012.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She earned a bachelor\u2019s in mathematics education and a master’s in business administration, both from the University of North Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a doctorate in higher education administration in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
