Or did it possess maladaptive qualities that could not properly cultivate a well-rounded individual?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To effectively answer these questions, I reflected on my journey here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the very first day, I can honestly say that I received support. I began taking classes at MDC in the fall semester of 2018. I didn&#8217;t know what to expect, but the classes were indeed challenging at times. In these courses, I was given the opportunity to improve my writing, develop mathematical and critical thinking skills and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of human development and human nature.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I can truly say that Dade provided me with a quality education and professors who demonstrated a lot of passion in their curriculum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another amazing aspect of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdcthereporter.com\/search\/?q=MDC\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">MDC<\/span><\/a> is the academic advising and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdc.edu\/north\/trio\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">TRIO<\/span><\/a> office. I can truly say that the staff in both these offices have made the journey so much easier. They have become like a family to me. Thankfully, my academic plan was put together the same semester that I would be starting, which allowed me to stay on track throughout my attendance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I&#8217;m also grateful for the various resources available to me such as professors\u2019 office hours, tutoring opportunities, clubs and scholarships. I am thankful for everyone who willingly offered themselves to make the most of my educational experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ultimately, I have enjoyed my time at MDC, and I am grateful that my path led me here. It has effectively prepared me for my next journey, and I&#8217;m excited to see the new opportunities that come my way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conclusively, for everyone who believes MDC is beneath them, it may be because the College humbly starts off simple, in order to help us climb higher and succeed. Dade continues to fend for their students, providing them with the tools needed to be successful. These tools are what led me to conclude that MDC is an educational haven that caters to all students.
