{"id":21726,"date":"2020-08-15T13:20:19","date_gmt":"2020-08-15T17:20:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mdcthereporter.com\/?p=21726"},"modified":"2021-01-08T15:43:10","modified_gmt":"2021-01-08T20:43:10","slug":"new-interim-assistant-dean-of-students-at-north-campus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdcthereporter.com\/staging\/8357\/new-interim-assistant-dean-of-students-at-north-campus\/","title":{"rendered":"New Interim Assistant Dean Of Students At North Campus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taniesha Wright was appointed as the new Interim Assistant Dean of Students at North <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wright, whose first day was on Aug. 3, is responsible for assisting the dean of students to assure that student\u2019s needs are met.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhether good or bad, people always recognize how you\u2019ve made them feel,\u201d Wright said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor myself, making sure that [students] walk away better than [they] came in is the most important thing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the past eight years, Wright has served as the Single Stop program coordinator for the North Campus, the Eduardo J. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Padr\u00f3n <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Campus, Medical Campus and the Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center. She also assisted the director of retention and transition services in designing enrollment strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in management and human resources management from<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Florida State University in 2004.
