The Museum of Art and Design<\/span><\/a><\/strong> will reopen on Nov. 5. It will present two exhibitions at Miami Dade College\u2019s Freedom Tower, 600 Biscayne Blvd.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Body Electric<\/span><\/i>, MOAD\u2019s latest exposition, will be on view until May 30. It examines the last 50 years of artists addressing the way technology has come to dominate human interactions, particularly the increasingly inescapable interface between our bodies and screens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Remaking Miami: Josefina Tarafa\u2019s Photographs of the 1970s<\/span><\/i>, the latest addition to MOAD\u2019s Special Collection, will be exhibited until Feb. 28. The gallery of Tarafa\u2019s photographs illustrates the way Cuban immigrants caused a cultural transformation when they arrived in Miami.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Virtual tours of both exhibits will be made available at MOAD\u2019s <\/span>website<\/a><\/span><\/strong> closer to the museum\u2019s reopening. Health and safety measures\u2014like translating interactive exhibitions for a no-contact environment\u2014will be implemented at the museum.<\/span><\/p>\n
