Homestead Campus will host <\/span>Mathemagic<\/span><\/i>, an event highlighting the science behind number crunching and mental math, on Oct. 26 from noon to 1 p.m via <\/span>Microsoft Teams<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yusnier Viera, a Cuban-born University of Havana computer science graduate and math professor at Homestead Campus, will present methods and techniques for doing mental math.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He will also discuss his own experiences and background in number crunching, which includes earning multiple Guinness World Records.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you discover your talent, you will love pursuing the dream of becoming better every day.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is no other possibility than success,\u201d Viera said. \u201c If you are just curious or need inspiration or simply are known as an individual with exceptional skills, then you must come and see for yourself.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
