The Civic Chorale of Greater Miami and the Alhambra Orchestra will be hosting the 44<\/span>th<\/span> annual Messiah Sing-In on Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. at the First United Method Church of Coral Gables, 536 S.W. 24 St. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Civic Chorale, made up of sixty Miami Dade College students and members of the community, will perform Handel\u2019s \u201cMessiah\u201d to kick-off the holiday season. The performance will be \u201caccessible, likable, and powerful,\u201d according to this year\u2019s conductor, Kendall Campus music professor, Kenneth Boos. <\/span><\/p>\n

Admission is free, but an offering plate will be passed around during the event. An open rehearsal will also be held before the event at 2:30 p.m. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
