The Eduardo J. Padr\u00f3n Campus and <\/span>Hermione’s Army<\/span><\/a><\/span> are hosting their fifth annual <\/span>Transfer Application Workshop Series<\/span><\/i> to discuss personal statements and supplements on Jan. 26 at 3:30 p.m. via Zoom.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshops, which started in January, teach students how to apply and transfer to another university. The next presentation will take place on Feb. 2 at 3:30 p.m. It will cover financial aid and scholarships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other topics in the series included college essays, sending transcripts, getting letters of recommendation, and the Common Application.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been mentoring students and helping them through their transfer process and to be successful as they get into really prestigious universities,\u201d said Emily Sendin<\/span><\/span><\/a>, founding adviser of Hermione\u2019s Army. \u201cI\u2019m trying to use what I know and what I have learned throughout the years so I can help students.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The event is free and open to the public. Students must <\/span>RSVP<\/a><\/span> to receive a link to the event.<\/span><\/p>\n
