The Miami Dade College <\/span>Child Care Scholarship<\/span><\/i> is available to students who have dependents under the age of ten and attend a certified child care facility.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarship\u2014a prize of up to $1,000\u2014has an ongoing deadline and requires students to submit the childcare provider’s information in order to qualify.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants must complete a 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to demonstrate financial need. They must also be enrolled in at least six credits per semester, show academic progress and upload a letter from their child care facility indicating that the child is actively receiving care.<\/span><\/p>\n
