Ievgeniia Ieromenko, a cybersecurity student at North and Wolfson campuses, has been awarded the National Cyber Foundation Scholarship.<\/span><\/p>\n

The $1,000 award is based on her performance at the CyberStart virtual competition earlier this year. It\u2019s being applied toward Ieromenko\u2019s tuition at Miami Dade College during the fall semester.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the scholarship, Ieromenko is participating in a 120-hour SANS<\/span><\/a> Cyber Foundation Academy course to learn about computer hardware, programming and forensics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe most exciting part of receiving this scholarship is being granted access to the SANS Cyber Foundations Academy course,\u201d Ieromenko said. \u201cI\u2019m really enjoying going through the material.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
