Two Miami Dade College publications<\/span>\u2014<\/span>Miambiance<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Urbana<\/span><\/i>\u2014<\/span><\/i>have been selected as <\/span>finalists for the College Media Association\u2019s Pinnacle Award<\/span><\/a><\/span> in the Two-Year Literary Magazine of the Year category.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finalists were selected based on work published during the 2020-21 school year. <\/span>The Wright Side<\/span><\/i>, Wilbur Wright College\u2019s literary magazine and <\/span>Amaranth<\/span><\/i>, Anne Arundel Community College\u2019s literary magazine, are the other finalists.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Winners will be announced at the ACP\/CMA Fall National College Media Convention on Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. The conference is being held virtually.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Miambiance<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/a>, the literary magazine at Kendall Campus was launched in 1989. They\u2019ve been a Pinnacle finalist four years in a row, winning the award the past two years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Urbana<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/a>, the literary arts magazine at Eduardo J. Padr\u00f3n Campus was founded in 2007. The magazine was also selected as finalists for individual pinnacles this year in the Best Social Media Presence, Best Magazine Cover and Best Social Media Strategy categories.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
