The U.S. Department of Education\u2019s Office of Postsecondary Education for Hispanic Serving Institutions Division<\/span><\/a> awarded Miami Dade College three grants totaling more than $14 million over the next five years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Miami Dade College\u2019s School of Science will receive $5 million for its STEM Strategies for Maximizing Achievement, Retention and Transfer project that offers research internships and field experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Campus\u2019 STEM Pathways for Acceleration, Completion and Transfer Success project will receive $5 million to fund supplemental instructions, internships, renovating an existing lab and building a new STEM Student Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wolfson Campus will receive $4,449,913 for the STEM Legacy project to establish the STEM AXIS Center, a resource hub for students, providing mentoring and tutoring.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
