Not too many people think of Florida as the first destination when it comes to fall festival fun.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, that doesn\u2019t mean that there aren\u2019t plenty of places throughout the state where guests can get in on all the autumn action.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pinto\u2019s Farm Pumpkin Patch has become a Florida classic fall tradition in Homestead.<\/span><\/p>\n

Located at 14890 S.W. 216th St., the pumpkin patch opened its doors to the public on Sept. 25.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As guests enter, they are put into the fall mood with pumpkins, sunflowers, scarecrows, hay and a telephone booth with foliage that makes for an ideal photo-op.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors,\u201d said Cristina Pinto, the Operations Manager of Pinto\u2019s Farm. \u201cWe love seeing the faces of all the families lit up when they\u2019re enjoying the different activities we offer and most importantly, the decorations they see throughout the pumpkin patch.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the farm, you can enjoy pumpkin patches, paddle boats, racetracks, tractor and pony rides and a playground for kids.<\/span><\/p>\n

For those looking to have a more leisure experience at the farm, you can sit back and enjoy a magic show while eating a snack.<\/span><\/p>\n

The farm is well known for its milkshakes that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth craving. They include the Donut Worry, a shake drizzled with Nutella and a chocolate doughnut, and the Sweet Life, a strawberry shake topped with a strawberry shortcake bar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Guests who are animal lovers can visit the farm\u2019s zoo where they can encounter fennec foxes, donkeys, muntjac deer, goats, pigs, ferrets and patagonian maras.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before leaving, attendees get to take home a complimentary pumpkin and feel as if they are in <\/span>It\u2019s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. <\/span><\/i>There are a variety of different-sized pumpkins to choose from.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Face coverings and social distancing are not required for fully vaccinated attendees, however, they are recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pinto\u2019s Farm Pumpkin Patch will run until Oct. 31 and is open Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Admission is $27.99 per person.<\/span><\/p>\n
