North Campus is seeking volunteers for its 15th installation of Children\u2019s Holiday, a free Christmas celebration for the community, on Dec. 11.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Interested individuals can sign up to volunteer for tents and activities such as the Comic and Anime Pavilion, Enchanted Jungle, Santa\u2019s Workshop or the parade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are three shifts available. An eight-hour shift from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., a four-hour shift from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and a four-hour shift from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students who participate can earn community service hours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To apply, visit <\/span>https:\/\/miamidade.co1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_4VgtaQjjznnt8b3<\/span><\/a><\/span>. Volunteers need to register for a minimum of three booths.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis event is a time for family gatherings to engage in not only fun activities but also educational aspects,\u201d said Jesenia Patino, North Campus\u2019 administrative assistant and co-chair of Children\u2019s Holiday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
