Dandria Alexis Gray was selected as the new student life<\/a><\/span> director at Homestead Campus. She started her role on Jan. 18.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gray, 39, will focus on increasing student engagement at the campus with faculty and staff through the creation and management of events.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to spread kindness over the campus and encourage creativity,\u201d Gray said. \u201c[To] keep up with the Homestead Campus vibe of being a family-oriented campus.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to becoming director, Gray served as an instructional assistant II at Homestead Campus for two years. She has also served as an administrative assistant at Miami Dade College.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gray previously worked as a library assistant in the Miami-Dade County Public Library System for seven years and a school board program coordinator for three years.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She has an associates degree from MDC, a bachelor’s of applied science degree in public administration from Florida International University and a master\u2019s of science degree in organizational leadership from Union Institute & University.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
