Guards <\/span>Ahmari Young<\/b><\/a> and<\/span> Anija Payne <\/b><\/span>and forward <\/span>Angelina Hammond <\/b><\/span>were named to the\u00a0 All-Southern Conference First-Team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Young led the Lady Sharks in scoring this season with a 12.8 scoring average. Payne led the team in rebounding with 10.6 per game and she added 8.4 points per contest. Hammond averaged 7.8 points and 6.5 rebounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Three other Lady Sharks earned All-Southern Conference Second-Team honors. They were point guard <\/span>Rio Yamazaki<\/b><\/span>, who averaged 6.3 points and a team-leading 2.9 assists per game, forward <\/span>Donella Gardener<\/b><\/span>, who averaged 6.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest, and combo guard <\/span>Niaisya Ervin<\/b><\/span>, who averaged 7.2 points per game.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lady Sharks finished the season with a 6-23 record.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
