He writes articles, posts stories, edits weather videos, posts on social media and finds trending stories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c[The internship] has shown me that there is so much more to the news industry than just reporters and anchors,\u201d Boulandier said. \u201cIt takes so much more than what we see on TV.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2018, Boulandier started a news Instagram account, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/newsalertkb\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">@newsalertkb<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> where he posts news about local and national issues. He has more than 1,000 followers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He began his collegiate journalism career as a staff writer at <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Reporter<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in January of 2020.
