Padr\u00f3n Campus, was chosen as a member of the 2022 All-USA Academic Team on March 8.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Piedrahita is one of 20 college students selected for the distinction. She will receive $5,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI was just so happy,\u201d the 20-year-old said. \u201cIt was just such an exciting moment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Piedrahita was selected for the award after demonstrating academic excellence, intellectual rigor, leadership and service with her initiative <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Heal From Within<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in partnership with her campus\u2019 Phi Theta Kappa. The project focuses on offering resources to students struggling with their mental health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c[It] is an honor and privilege to see Susana thrive and excel in the highest way possible,\u201d said PTK advisor Diego Tibaquir\u00e1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Piedrahita is scheduled to graduate in April with her associate\u2019s degree.
