Catalina P\u00e9rez de Armi\u00f1\u00e1n Pazos, who graduated from the Honors College at Wolfson Campus two years ago, started working as a multimedia journalist for Telemundo Las Vegas on May 23. <\/span>

\n<\/span>The 23-year-old is covering general news stories in the Las Vegas community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s my dream job,\u201d P\u00e9rez de Armi\u00f1\u00e1n said. \u201cEvery day you do something new.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Most recently, P\u00e9rez de Armi\u00f1\u00e1n did a remote internship with NBCUniversal Telemundo from May of 2021 to May of 2022. She created and edited digital content and managed the social media accounts of the LatinxNOW! Show.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After earning an associate\u2019s degree in mass communications from Miami Dade College in 2020, P\u00e9rez de Armi\u00f1\u00e1n transferred to Emerson College. In Boston, she worked as a podcast host for <\/span>WECB<\/span><\/span><\/a> (Emerson\u2019s Radio Station) from September of 2020 to May of 2022,\u00a0 a fashion correspondent for <\/span>WEBN-TV<\/span><\/span><\/a> (Emerson\u2019s TV Broadcast Station) from February of 2021 to May of 2022 and as a media reporter for Sunset Confidential<\/em>, an entertainment publication for Emerson College Los Angeles, from January of 2022 to May of 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

P\u00e9rez de Armi\u00f1\u00e1n graduated from Emerson this past May with a bachelor\u2019s degree in journalism.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
