New World School of the Arts, 25 N.E. 2nd St., is hosting a multimedia art exhibition\u2014The Front Room<\/em>\u2014featuring work that sheds light on social justice and minority representation.<\/p>\n

The showcase will include drawings, paintings and sculptures from NWSA alumni Loni Johnson, Vanta Black and Christiana Friday. They will be presented at the New World Art Gallery in Room 5101.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to create an inclusive environment that fosters important conversations,\u201d said NWSA Dean Gustavo Plascencia.<\/p>\n

The exposition, available for viewing from Nov. 18 through Jan. 13, 2023, is free and open to the public, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
