Applications for the University of Miami Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship are open until Jan. 26.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The program will offer research opportunities in the biomedical field at the Miller School of Medicine from May 22 to July 28. It will also provide on-campus housing and a stipend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents, a rising undergraduate junior or senior majoring in a science-based career, have a minimum 3.2 grade point average and intend to pursue a biomedical sciences doctoral program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Additional requirements include two letters of recommendation, a resume, college transcripts and short essay responses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On July 28, students will present their findings at the SURF Symposium.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
