Applications for the Minority Educational Institution Student Partnership Program are open until January 31.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program aims to address the under-representation of minorities in the STEM workforce by offering summer internships with the U.S. Department of Energy and its national laboratories.<\/span><\/p>\n

MEISPP offers 10-week assignments from June 5 through August 11.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Students will gain technical skills through development workshops and receive a $650 weekly stipend, a housing allowance starting at $240, and travel reimbursement to and from assignment locations\u2014which include states like California, Texas and New York\u2014up to $1,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a United States citizen, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, <\/span>have earned at least 24 undergraduate semester hours <\/span>and be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.<\/span><\/p>\n
