An agreement between Miami-Dade County\u2019s Easy Card Services Transportation Program and Miami Dade College, has given Single Stop 50 additional monthly passes for students struggling to afford public transportation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to the agreement, which was made in January, Single Stop offered 30 monthly bus passes college-wide. That number will now increase to 80.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c[A bus pass] gives you the freedom to do whatever you want with finding a job or getting a job, going back and forth to and from classes, the library, wherever you need to go,\u201d said Single Stop Director Janet Mapp.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Students interested in obtaining a pass must complete <\/span>Single Stop<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u2019s<\/a><\/span> intake form and provide a state-issued ID, show proof of income and a social security number.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
