New World School of the Arts music faculty members will host a music concert on Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Miami, 609 Brickell Ave. <\/span><\/p>\n

The event is part of a yearly NWSA<\/span><\/a> music department faculty performance. Students and members of the community will be able to enjoy performances from talented music teachers collaborating and showcasing different musical collections.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFaculty concerts are so important because they are designed to showcase the faculty’s talents in a different way from the classroom,\u201d said dean of music at NWSA, Daniel Andai. \u201cThey can perform for a wider audience to capture a wonderful sense of community, with the goal to celebrate beautiful music.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Performers include violinist Richard Fleischman, playing the viola, and a piano performance by Ciro Fodere.<\/span><\/p>\n
