Isis Gaston, more famously known as <\/span>Ice Spice<\/span><\/a><\/span>, is a 23-year-old American rapper who rose to fame after the debut of her single <\/span>Munch<\/span><\/a><\/span> in August of 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since then, she has had three singles, one EP, and most recently a remix of one of her songs featuring Nicki Minaj. That exposure landed her a solo set at Rolling Loud California in April and an invite to the Met Gala in early May.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In under a year, Ice Spice has proven she has what it takes to make it in the rap game. Fans applaud her for staying on her winning streak and not letting her momentum fade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite her recent accomplishments, people are debating whether Ice Spice\u2019s music qualifies her for the “Princess of Rap” title. That her musical style of Bronx drill rapping and lyrics aren\u2019t as revolutionary as her fans say it is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
