The art gallery at Eduardo J. Padr\u00f3n Campus, 627 S.W. 27th Ave, is hosting the <\/span>Remaking Miami: Josefina Tarafa\u2019s Photographs of the 1970s <\/span><\/i>showcase in Room 3113 from Sept. 18 through Dec. 13.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Featured are 30 posthumous prints of the late Cuban photographer, editor and philanthropist Josefina Tarafa, depicting how the influx of Cuban refugees fleeing Fidel Castro\u2019s dictatorship changed Miami\u2019s cultural landscape in the 1970s.<\/span><\/p>\n

The gallery is open Monday through Wednesday and the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s\u00a0 free and open to the community.<\/span><\/p>\n
