The New World School of the Arts will host the <\/span>Selected Works From The NWSA Collection <\/span><\/i>art exhibition from Nov. 17 through Jan. 26.<\/span><\/p>\n

Curated by the dean of visual arts Gustavo Plascencia and gallery assistant Maria \u201cFern\u201d Palmas, the exhibit will showcase art from the 1980s and \u201890s donated by Latin American artists such as Guillimero Trujio, Miguel Padura and Maria Martinez-Ca\u00f1as, who serves as an associate professor and oversees the photography department at NWSA.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Works displayed will include oil and acrylic paintings, photographs and mixed media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibit will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New World Gallery, 25 N.E. 2nd St., in Room 5101.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s free and open to the public.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
