The English Department at North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27th Ave., is hosting a speech and spoken word contest on March 30 \u00a0at the MJ Taylor Lounge in building 4 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. <\/span><\/p>\n

Students with public speaking experience or those enrolled in any communication course are encouraged to attend and participate. All work must be the student’s original work. Speeches must be five to seven minutes long and spoken word pieces can be three to seven minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entries must be videotaped and submitted using a<\/span> USB to Room 1354-12 or by emailing a link \u00a0to <\/span>NStudentLife@mdc.edu<\/span><\/span><\/a> by March 14. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eight finalists will be selected \u00a0for the March 30 event. \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n
