Miami Dade College sophomore <\/span>Juan Miguel Fernandez<\/span> <\/span><\/a>was <\/span>tabbed to the Citrus Conference First-Team<\/span><\/a><\/span> by the Florida College System Athletic Association.<\/span><\/p>\n

The right-hander posted a 9-3 mark for MDC this season and struck out 83 batters while posting a 3.95 earned run average.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharks third baseman D\u2019Angelo Ortiz, catcher <\/span>Geremy Garcia <\/span><\/a><\/span>and outfielder Michael Petite were named to the Citrus Conference Second-Team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ortiz posted a team-leading .467 batting average, Garcia led the team in RBI with 52 and added seven home runs and Petite was the team leader in home runs with nine while boasting a .291 batting average.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
