Miami Dade College\u2019s Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104th St., is hosting a volleyball camp for girls between the ages of 7 and 18 from July 15-18.<\/span><\/p>\n

The camp, which has been held for more than 20 years, will teach the fundamentals of volleyball, such as setting, passing, serving, hitting, blocking, defense, conditioning and teamwork.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s our signature\u2026 we have a great tradition in athletics, especially in volleyball,\u201d said Head Volleyball Coach Origenes \u201cKiko\u201d Benoit, who will be leading the camp alongside assistant coaches Daniela Tobar and Yolanda Delgado.<\/span><\/p>\n

Athletes must come dressed in volleyball attire\u2014T-shirts, shorts, sneakers and knee pads\u2014and bring lunch or money to purchase food.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Activities will be held at the gym, Room G-210, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The camp fee is $250 per person.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon the completion of the camp, participants will receive an MDC 2024 volleyball T-shirt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
