{"id":37578,"date":"2024-07-23T11:00:28","date_gmt":"2024-07-23T15:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mdcthereporter.com\/staging\/8357\/?p=37578"},"modified":"2024-07-23T11:04:26","modified_gmt":"2024-07-23T15:04:26","slug":"north-campus-appoints-new-assistant-custodian-supervisor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdcthereporter.com\/staging\/8357\/north-campus-appoints-new-assistant-custodian-supervisor\/","title":{"rendered":"North Campus Appoints New Assistant Custodian Supervisor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jacques Alphonse was hired as the assistant custodian supervisor at North Campus on July 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His obligations include scheduling assignments and preparing equipment for more than 20 custodial employees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWorking for Miami Dade College is a great opportunity,\u201d Alphonse said. \u201cI like to train people and I like to help others.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aside from his new post, Alphonse will continue to work as a remote tax manager for Tax Stop, a tax preparation services business, a role he has held for the last 15 years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before MDC, he served as a maintenance worker for the City of Miami Beach\u2019s parks and Recreation Department and an armed security guard for Allied Universal Security Services from July 2023 to July 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alphonse has also worked as a TSA security guard at Boston Logan Airport and Miami International Airport, a seasonal logistics administrator at Amazon and a sales associate at Lowe\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 35-year-old earned an associate\u2019s degree in business administration at Massasoit Community College in 2011.
