The <\/span>Miami Dade College baseball team<\/span><\/a><\/span> is hosting open tryouts at 9 a.m. on Sept. 1 at the Kendall Campus baseball field, 11011 S.W. 104 St.<\/span><\/p>\n

Players will be tested on skills such as throwing, running, batting and catching.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s one way to show their talent,\u201d said Lazaro Llanes, the Sharks\u2019 head baseball coach.\u201cThey’ve got to do something that separates themselves.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

To participate, athletes must be enrolled in at least 12 credits at MDC, have completed a physical exam and present proof of insurance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
