The Museum of Art and Design, in collaboration with the <\/span>Women Artists Archives Miami<\/a>, is hosting printmaker and artist Kabuya Pamela Bowens-Saffo\u2019s first solo exhibition, <\/span>From The Heights.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

It will be showcased at the Eduardo J. Padr\u00f3n Campus, 627 S.W. 27th Ave., in Room 3113 from Dec. 4 to March 15.<\/span><\/p>\n

From The Heights<\/span><\/i> features Bowens-Saffo\u2019s work completed in South Florida since 1997 and explores social and political themes such as race, gender and class.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe’re really here to serve our MDC community first and foremost,\u201d said Amy Galpin, MOAD\u2019s executive director and chief curator. \u201cWe want others to see themselves presented with dignity and respect in visual art.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibit is free and open to the public, Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n
