New World School of the Arts is hosting their annual<\/span> Artists, Scholars & Curators: A Lecture Series <\/span><\/a>on April 10 at 2 p.m. at Wolfson Campus, 500 N.E. Second Ave., Room 7128.<\/span><\/p>\n

The featured speaker will be photographer <\/span>Nikita Payusov<\/span><\/a>, whose work focuses on war-torn and Indigenous communities. His images have appeared in <\/span>The New York Times<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Rolling Stone, Newsweek,<\/span><\/i> Forbes<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>NPR.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

During the series, local and national experts will teach students how to build a portfolio, network with professionals and art institutions and find local opportunities for graduate education.<\/span><\/p>\n
