Applications for the Freidin Brown, P.A. & SAVE Social Justice Scholarships are open until Aug 30.<\/span><\/p>\n

The scholarships, which aim to support the future of LGBTQ+ and allied students from South Florida who have special interests in social justice, award up to $25,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students must be enrolled in college for at least two years and pursuing a major related to social justice such as law, public policy and education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The application requires proof of a volunteering background for the LGBTQ+ community or any other social justice cause.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants must also provide an updated transcript, an essay, a personal statement and a written statement of how the financial aid will help them in their careers.<\/span><\/p>\n
