The Museum of Art and Design is accepting submissions for its second annual art contest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Contestants must submit an original piece of art that corresponds to this year\u2019s theme, the <\/span>Spirit of Miami<\/span><\/i>. Up to three entries are allowed per person.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants must be Miami Dade College students, at least 18 years old and provide valid Florida-issued identification.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first-place winner will receive a $200 gift certificate for <\/span>Blick Art Materials<\/span><\/a> and will be featured on <\/span>MOAD<\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>Freedom Tower<\/span><\/a>\u2019s Instagram accounts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The top three winners will receive invitations to MOAD\u2019s annual Miami Art Week Reception on Dec. 5.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Submissions are due on Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. All work should be submitted by email to Jennifer Weinberg at <\/span>jweinbe1@mdc.edu<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
