The Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College is hosting an exhibit honoring Cuban artists Belkis Ay\u00f3n and Carlos Alfonzo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It will feature three contemporary works from Ay\u00f3n and Alfonzo, inspired by the violence and oppression they faced and witnessed in their home country and the journey that they endured.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibit is open through May 10 at the Freedom Tower, 600 Biscayne Blvd. Hours of operation are Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s free for students and employees with an MDC ID.<\/span><\/p>\n
