A Comprehensive Center for Exceptional Student Services (ACCESS), is looking for student volunteers at all Miami Dade campuses to help students with disabilities to take notes in classes, with tutoring and to assist students with reading.<\/p>\n

All volunteers must be registered MDC students. Volunteers do not need experience in order to be eligible but are required to fill out an application.<\/p>\n

\u201cVolunteers often comment on their positive learning experience working with ACCESS students,\u201d said Elizabeth Smith, the director of the ACCESS Department at Kendall Campus. \u201cSurvey feedback from ACCESS students has been extremely positive in terms of their satisfaction with the services provided by their volunteer.\u201d<\/p>\n
