In an effort to maximize its digital footprint and to augment the paper\u2019s print edition, The Reporter<\/em> launched a new website on Aug. 24.<\/p>\n

Accessible at www.mdcthereporter.com<\/span><\/a>, the site\u2014powered through WordPress\u2014replaces the previous website that used Tridion<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new website is mobile friendly, features a simple and interactive layout, is fully functional with most web browsers and better positions the paper to cover breaking news. In addition, it will be more conducive to spotlight higher quality video and photo content, allowing readers easier access to share and interact with The Reporter.<\/p>\n

Brayan Vazquez, a computer science and computer network major at North Campus, designed the site. He will serve as the sites Webmaster, overseeing maintenance and daily updates.<\/p>\n
